Jokowi, dengan gaya low-profile menyatakan menolak kursi Dewan Pertimbangan Presiden (Wantimpres). Ia ingin jadi “rakyat biasa” di Solo. Narasi manis yang mengharukan, kalau saja kita lupa bahwa putra sulungnya adalah wakil presiden jadi-jadian. Dan dua minggu sebelumnya, dalam acara Rakernas Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), ia menyatakan akan bekerja “mati-matian dan habis-habisan” untuk membesarkan partai yang dipimpin putra bungsunya.
Seperti lazimnya celotehan gaya Jokowi sejenis dengan “sudah tapi belum”. Menolak menjadi Wantimpres Prabowo dan memilih pensiun di Solo, adalah tipikal “menyalakan lampu sein kiri tetapi belok kanan”. Politik Indonesia penuh dengan bahasa isyarat dan aksi pat-gulipat. Menolak posisi Wantimpres adalah isyarat jaga jarak Jokowi pada Prabowo. Kalau bukan pecah kongsi.
Prabowo pernah menyatakan relasinya dengan Jokowi adalah seperti “hopeng”. Istilah Hokkien yang artinya sahabat karib, teman dekat, kawan sejati saling percaya, siap membantu tanpa pamrih, Ia berulangkali memuji kiprah dan kinerja Jokowi, termasuk teriakan iconik “hidup Jokowi”. Tapi tawarannya untuk duduk sebagai Wantimpres, posisi strategis dekat dengannya sebagai presiden ditolak. Hopeng bertepuk sebelah tangan?
Atau mungkin itu strategi politik panggung ala Jokowi. Menolak Wantimpres, adalah langkah cerdik. Mengapa duduk di kursi resmi yang selalu disorot publik, jika bisa berdiri di balik tirai dengan pengaruh lebih lentur? Buat apa menjadi penasihat resmi jika sudah memiliki “proxy” di dalam sistem untuk memastikan agenda politik bisa berjalan?
Jabatan formal itu seperti memegang mikrofon, terlihat penting, tapi membatasi improvisasi. Jokowi tidak perlu mikrofon, ia lebih bisa berkasak-kusuk, cawe-cawe, berbisik langsung ke telinga aktor utama. Politik transaksional perkongsian ala Jokowi, tidak menyukai transparansi atau keterbukaan. Ia lebih suka bahasa isyarat, senyum cengengesan, dan pernyataan membingungkan. Ke Solo ia cuma mudik sesaat, bukan pulang kampung. Untuk mereposisi peran politiknya, dalam permainan catur politik kekuasaan.
Politik per-hopeng-an tak perlu jabatan formal. Tidak perlu repot duduk di kantor Wantimpres dengan segala formalitas dan protokoler. Untuk apa jabatan inferior, jika Jokowi bisa memberikan “saran yang tak bisa ditolak” oleh Prabowo (melalui telepon sambil menyeruput teh di Solo). Ala ucapan gembong mafioso Don Vito Corleone dalam film The Godfather “I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse”.
Relasi politik Hopeng Jokowi dan Prabowo adalah simbiosis strange-bedfellow, aliansi transaksional yang tidak lazim. Prabowo mendapat restu untuk berkuasa, setelah berulangkali gagal. Jokowi mendapatkan jaminan keberlanjutan, untuk proyek strategis dan dinasti politiknya. Tapi hopeng politik bukanlah perkawanan yang tulus, melainkan persekongkolan yang penuh kepentingan.
Prabowo, boleh jadi ingin menghormati, atau mengkandangkan, hopeng-nya agar lebih terkontrol dalam bermanuver politik di Wantimpres. Tapi syahwat politik mana bisa dikontrol. Artinya, tidak ada hopeng dalam politik, yang ada cuma kepentingan.
Kehopengan Prabowo dan Jokowi hanya bisa berlanjut sejauh keduanya masih bisa bersepakat dalam berbagi kekuasaan. Dulu mereka berhopeng untuk meraih kekuasaan. Ketika kekuasaan digenggam, dan ingin dipertahankan, maka perlu disepakati-ulang. Tapi apakah kesepakatan baru bisa dirumuskan, ketika syahwat Jokowi adalah bertarung habis-habisan dan mati-matian untuk partai PSI-nya. Sementara Prabowo sibuk mengamankan proyek-proyek kepentingannya yang penuh paradoks, seperti MBG dan koperasi merah putih. Dan sesekali mengganggu kroni-kroni Jokowi.
Dalam politik hopeng, loyalitas dan konsistensi tak diukur dari ideologi atau common good (untuk publik dan republik) melainkan dari keuntungan yang didapat. Kehopengan Prabowo dan Jokowi hanya sebatas pernah memiliki “rekening bersama:” saling tahu jumlah saldo dan rahasia cara memperolehnya.
Jokowi sudah menyalakan lampu sein kiri untuk balik kanan, menolak tawaran posisi Wantimpres. Lampu sein Jokowi, penting atau tidak bagi Prabowo, tergantung posisi kendaraan politiknya saat ini. Apakah ada di depan atau belakang Jokowi. Apakah ini tanda duo-hopeng pecah kongsi? Kita tunggu apa respon dan sikap Prabowo atas penolakan terbuka hopengnya ini
