Jakarta — Presiden Prabowo Subianto  memberi sinyal bakal  mengakui Israel negara yang berdaulat.  Namun demikian pengakuan ini bukan tanpa syarat atau cek kosong saja. Presiden Prabowo yang tampil dalam Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) memberi syarat yang jelas dan tegas. Tidak ada lagi peperangan. Tidak ada lagi genozida. Israel wajib dan harus mengakui  Palestina sebagai negara yang Merdeka dan berdaulat. Pernyataan ini disampaikan Presiden Prabowo  dalam Konferensi Tingkat Tinggi (KTT) mengenai Palestina dan Solusi Dua Negara di Markas Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB), New York, Amerika Serikat, Senin (22/9).

“Kita harus menjamin status kenegaraan Palestina. Namun, Indonesia juga siap menyatakan, saat Israel mengakui kemerdekaan dan status kenegaraan Palestina, Indonesia akan segera mengakui Israel, dan kami akan mendukung seluruh jaminan atas keamanan Israel,” kata Presiden Prabowo, yang kemudian disambut tepuk tangan meriah dari delegasi negara-negara peserta KTT seperti dikutip di REPUBLIKA.CO.ID

Sebelumnya, sejumlah negara juga telah menyatakan dukungannya kepada Palestina sebagai negara yang berhak hidup merdeka dan berdaulat.  Mulai dari belahan Asia, Timur Tengah hingga Eropa.  Terkini, dukungan juga datang dari Inggris, Prancis, Kanada dan Australia.  Dukungan ini semakin memperkuat  stratagi politik Global Palestina  sebagai negara yang berdaulat.

Masih dalam forum KTT, Prabowo  juga mengecam seluruh kekerasan terhadap rakyat sipil di Gaza. Puluhan ribu warga sipil tak berdosa meninggal dunia akibat genosida oleh militer Israel.    Bahkan sebelum menutup pidatonya Prabowo berkali kali menyebut  sudah saatnya sekarang mewujudkan perdamaian.  Prabowo mendesak negara-negara anggota PBB untuk bersama-sama mewujudkan perdamaian dan menghentikan genosida di Gaza. 

“Kita butuh perdamaian itu sekarang! Perdamaian segera! Kita butuh mewujudkan perdamaian!” tegas Prabowo seperti dilansir dalam berita REPUBLIKA.CO.ID.

KTT mengenai Palestina dan solusi dua negara merupakan bagian dari Sidang Majelis Umum Ke-80 PBB yang diinisiasi oleh Prancis dan Arab Saudi, dihadiri oleh Presiden Prancis Emmanuel Macron dan Menteri Luar Negeri Arab Saudi Pangeran Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
