Jakarta,– Korban  bencana banjir dan longsor di wilayah Sumatera (Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat dan Aceh) terus bertambah. Data Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) sebagaimana dilangsir dalam  gis.bnpb.go.id, data per Selasa (9/12/2025), korban jiwa  sudah mencapai  961 jiwa, korban hilang 293, dan luka-luka sebanyak 5 ribu orang. Kepala Pusat Data Informasi dan Komunikasi Kebencanaan BNPB Abdul Muhari mengatakan  di hari senin (8/12/2025) tim gabungan telah menemukan 40 jenazah  masing-masing di wilayah Aceh sebanyak  23  jenazah, Sumatera Utara  9  jenazah, sedangkan Sumatera Barat sebanyak  8 orang.

Menurut Muhari,  dengan adanya penambahan jumlah  jenazah yang ditemukan maka secara keseluruhan jumlah korban meninggal juga dinyatakan bertambah. Untuk wilayah Aceh, jumlah korban meninggal tercatat sudah mencapai 389 jiwa . Sumatra Utara sebanyak 338 korban jiwa dan Sumatera Barat 238 jiwa.
