Jakarta — Pengamat politik  dan Pertahanan  dari Universitas Nasional (UNAS) Jakarta, Dr. Selamat Ginting menilai langkah Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo  membentuk  tim reformasi Polri   mendahului istana,  sesungguhnya bisa dianggap  sebagai  bentuk  perlawanan terbuka dan pembangkangan terhadap Prabowo. Ia menjelaskan, Sigit  secara  sadar dan sengaja mendahului pihak istana  membentuk  sendiri tim reformasi polri dan mengumumkannya secara terbuka strukturnya yang semua beranggotakan internal dari Kepolisian.

‘’Ini betul betul peristiwa politik yang akan dicatat dalam sejarah, bahwa mabes polri yang di pimpin Listyo Sigit Prabowo melakukan pembangkangan terhadap Presiden. Ini betul – betul perlawanan,’’ ujarnya saat tampil dalam podcast di akun YouTube Abraham Samad Speak UP  yang diunggah  Kamis 16 Oktober  2025.

Selamat Ginting dalam podcast tersebut  yang dipandu mantan Ketua KPK Periode 20211-2015 Abraham Samad,   menjelaskan langkah Kapolri membentuk sendiri tim reformasi kepolisian  sesungguhnya punya motif akan mendelegitimasi komitmen Presiden untuk melakukan reformasi Polri secara total.

Seperti diberitakan sebelumnya, jauh sebelum Kapolri membentuk tim reformasi Kepolisian, Presiden Prabowo  secara terbuka di publik lebih awal sudah  mengumumkan misinyaakan melakukan reformasi total  dalam tubuh Kepolisian  pasca tragedi unjuk rasa akhir agustus lalu yang  berujung kerusahan dan penjarahan serta korban jiwa 10 orang.  Bahkan saat itu beberapa nama tokoh yang akan dilibatkan dalam struktur tim reformasi sudah beredar di public. Namun saat dalam agenda lawatan Presiden keluar negeri, tiba-tiba publik dikejutkan dengan langkah Kapolri secara internal juga membentuk tim reformasi Kepolisian.

Menurutnya, dengan melihat komposisi struktur tim yang dibentuk Sigit terdapat 52 orang personal semuanya adalah anggota aktif di tubuh Polri. Ini menandakan Sigit sebenarnya telah melakukan konsolidasi internal. 

 ‘’Berarti ini betul – betul ada pengeroyokan. Di dalam betul-betul sangat kuat. Konsolidasi sudah betul- betul dilakukan,’’ tambahnya menjelaskan Listyo Sigit Prabowo  adalah Kapolri terlama sepanjang sejarah Kepolisian.

Sebelumnya Kapolri  dalam berbagai kesempatan membantah anggapan publik yang menilainya telah melakukan perlawanan terhadap Presiden yang hendak melakukan reformasi Kepolisian. Pihaknya  bergerak membentuk tim reformasi sesungguhnya bagian dari respon institusi Kepolisian atas aspirasi yang berkembang.
