‘’Berarti ini betul – betul ada pengeroyokan. Di dalam betul-betul sangat kuat. Konsolidasi sudah betul- betul dilakukan,’’ tambahnya menjelaskan Listyo Sigit Prabowo adalah Kapolri terlama sepanjang sejarah Kepolisian.
Sebelumnya Kapolri dalam berbagai kesempatan membantah anggapan publik yang menilainya telah melakukan perlawanan terhadap Presiden yang hendak melakukan reformasi Kepolisian. Pihaknya bergerak membentuk tim reformasi sesungguhnya bagian dari respon institusi Kepolisian atas aspirasi yang berkembang.
