“Mindset pemerintah masih terpaku pada rezim investasi. Faktanya, ada pulau kecil yang luas izin tambangnya justru lebih besar daripada luas pulau itu sendiri. Ini aneh secara logika dan fatal secara ekologis,” ujarnya.
Salah satu contoh yang disoroti adalah aktivitas tambang nikel dan mineral lainnya di wilayah seperti Kabaena dan Kepulauan Raja Ampat. Roni menekankan bahwa dana reklamasi bukan sekadar jaminan administratif, melainkan instrumen untuk memastikan negara tidak rugi dua kali: kehilangan sumber daya alam sekaligus harus menanggung beban pemulihan lingkungan menggunakan APBN.
