Jakarta — Dunia kedokteran Indonesia berduka. Seorang dokter muda berusia 27 tahun, dr. Eliza Princila Utami Pakaenoni, yang akrab disapa dr. Icha, ditemukan meninggal dunia akibat gantung diri di kediaman orang tuanya di Perumahan RSS Baumata, Kabupaten Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), pada Jumat sore (26/6/2026) pukul 17.55 WITA.
Kematian tragis alumni kedokteran ini memicu gelombang duka mendalam sekaligus kemarahan publik setelah pihak keluarga membuka tabir di balik guncangan jiwa yang dialami almarhumah. Dr. Icha didiagnosis mengalami depresi berat akibat dugaan intimidasi dan kekerasan verbal luar biasa yang diterimanya dari oknum anggota DPRD Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara (TTU) saat ia tengah bertugas di garis depan pelayanan medis.
Kronologi Insiden IGD RS Leona Kefamenanu
Berdasarkan data yang dihimpun dari rekaman kronologi yang ditulis oleh dr. Icha sebelum wafat serta kesaksian pihak keluarga, titik awal petaka ini terjadi pada Sabtu, 13 Juni 2026, di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD) Rumah Sakit Leona Kefamenanu, TTU.
- Pukul 12.50 WITA: Dr. Icha menerima seorang pasien anak korban gigitan ular hijau yang dirujuk dari RSUD Kefamenanu. Sebagai dokter jaga, dr. Icha langsung melakukan penanganan medis profesional sesuai standar operasional prosedur (SOP) dan arahan dari dokter spesialis anak.
- Kedatangan Anggota Dewan:
Situasi di IGD memanas ketika keluarga pasien mendesak pemberian vaksin atau jenis penanganan tertentu yang secara pertimbangan medis belum direkomendasikan dan tidak tersedia di rumah sakit. Tak lama kemudian, datanglah 3 orang anggota DPRD TTU, yang belakangan diketahui masih ada hubungan keluarga korban.
- Bentuk Intimidasi Fisik dan Verbal:
Beberapa korban menyebut dr. Icha saat itu mendapat perlakuan tak pantas, dihardik dengan nada ancaman tinggi, wajahnya ditunjuk-tunjuk, dan diintervensi secara personal. Oknum dewan tersebut dengan pongah menegaskan identitas mereka sebagai anggota Komisi III DPRD TTU yang bermitra dengan Dinas Kesehatan, bahkan mengancam memiliki kuasa untuk membekukan izin praktik para dokter.
Bukan hanya itu, anggota dewan lainnya yang ada di lokasi juga sempat mengancam memanggil wartawan. Di bawah tekanan psikis yang bertubi-tubi, dr. Icha sempat menangis di ruang jaga dan menelepon pimpinan rumah sakit untuk melaporkan penindasan yang ia alami.
Dampak Trauma Psikologis dan Detik-Detik Terakhir
Tekanan mental dari figur otoritas daerah tersebut meremukkan kondisi psikologis dr. Icha. Pada hari berikutnya, Minggu (14/6/2026), ketika hendak kembali masuk kerja, dr. Icha mengalami kepanikan hebat setelah melihat orang-orang yang mengintimidasinya kemarin masih berada di sekitar lingkungan rumah sakit.
Ia pulang ke tempat tinggalnya dalam kondisi syok berat dan ditemukan lemas, hingga harus menjalani perawatan intensif selama enam hari di RS Leona akibat depresi.
Paman korban, Fabianus Banase, mengungkapkan bahwa setelah diperbolehkan rawat jalan pada 21 Juni 2026, dr. Icha dibawa ke Kupang demi memulihkan jiwanya.
“Berdasarkan pemeriksaan medis di Klinik Utama Jiwa Dewantara Mental Healthcare pada Rabu (24/6/2026), keponakan kami didiagnosis mengalami episode depresi berat tanpa gejala psikotik. Ia mengalami guncangan psikologis yang sangat hebat hingga sempat melakukan percobaan bunuh diri sebelumnya,” ungkap Fabianus pilu.
Nahas, pada Jumat sore, sebelum jadwal pemeriksaan kontrol lanjutan ke RS Bhayangkara Kupang terlaksana, dr. Icha ditemukan oleh adiknya sudah dalam posisi tergantung tak bernyawa di lantai dua rumah orang tuanya. Pihak keluarga menyatakan tidak ditemukan tanda-tanda kekerasan fisik luar dan sepakat untuk tidak melakukan otopsi.
Pembelaan Anggota Dewan dan Langkah Tegas Kepala Daerah
Menanggapi gelombang kemarahan publik, para anggota dewan yang terseret memberikan klarifikasinya:
- Therensius Lazakar (Golkar): Membantah tuduhan intimidasi berencana. Ia berdalih nada bicaranya meninggi murni karena situasi panik melihat keponakannya terus mengeluh kesakitan akibat racun ular.
- Veronika Lake (PDIP): Menyampaikan belasungkawa dan mengklarifikasi bahwa ucapannya terkait “panggil wartawan” bukan ditujukan untuk menyerang pribadi dr. Icha, melainkan sebagai bentuk dorongan otokritik terhadap manajemen rumah sakit.
Meskipun ada bantahan, respons keras justru datang dari Bupati TTU, Yosep Falentinus Delasalle Kebo. Bupati Yosep secara resmi membekukan proses perpanjangan izin operasional RS Leona Kefamenanu. Langkah ini diambil karena manajemen RS dianggap gagal memberikan perlindungan keamanan dan dukungan kerja yang layak bagi tenaga medisnya. Bupati juga menyentil kelakuan oknum anggota DPRD yang kerap membuat kegaduhan di fasilitas publik.
Sementara itu, Kapolres TTU AKBP Eliana Papote menegaskan bahwa pihaknya telah memeriksa sejumlah saksi rekan kerja dr. Icha di IGD dan akan segera memanggil ketiga anggota DPRD tersebut guna mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatannya di hadapan hukum. Tiga partai politik (Golkar, PKB, dan PDIP) juga menyatakan tengah memproses sanksi internal bagi kadernya masing-masing.
