Jakarta –  Keputusan Polda Metro Jaya  menetapkan Rismon dan kawan-kawan menjadi tersangka pencemaran nama baik dalam kasus dugaan ijazah palsu mantan Presiden RI Ke-7  Joko Widodo (Jokowi)   terus mendapat perlawanan publik.   

Sebelumnya,  Selasa, 11 November 2025 kemarin bertempat di  Gedung juang 45, Menteng Jakarta Pusat, sejumlah elemen dan tokoh  nasional  berkumpul.  Mereka dengan tegas   menyatakan dukungannya terhadap Roy Suryo dkk terus berjuang mengungkap kebenaran terhadap kasus ijazah Jokowi.  Bukan hanya itu, mereka juga  berjanji  akan ikut hadir mengawal   pemeriksaan  Roy Suryo dkk  yang dijadwalkan akan berlangsung Kamis 13 November 2025 besok di Polda Metro Jaya.

Menurutnya, penetapan tersangka kepada Roy Suryo dkk   adalah Keputusan yang terlalu dipaksakan dan  premature  sebab hingga sekarang ini  belum ada Keputusan dari Lembaga yang berwenang yang menetapkan sah asli tidaknya ijazah Jokowi. Polda hanya menyatakan telah memeriksa beberapa saksi   dan ahli, namun tidak pernah memperlihatkan dokumen ijazah yang disebut sebagai milik  mantan Jokowi.
