Saya ingin tegaskan, pernyataan Jokowi itu benar.   Dan orang besar yang Jokowi maksud itu adalah Bang Egi sendiri.  Egilah yang selama ini menyuarakan ijazah Jokowi palsu. Saya tahu itu karena saya di situ,’’ ujar Rustam dalam keterangannya di hadapan sejumlah wartawan yang kumpul di halaman Polda Metro Jaya.

Rustam tidak bisa menyembunyikan kekecewannya terhadap Egi dan Damai Lubis yang tiba – tiba membelot   berdamai dengan Jokowi. Meski, Rustam mengaku dirnya bersama  dengan tersangka lain, Kurnia, Rizal Fadillah, Roy Suryo, Rismon dan Tifa  akan terus bersama berjuang mengungkap kebenaran atas ijazah Jokowi.
