JAKARTA — Iklim investasi sektor otomotif Indonesia didera sinyal bahaya serius. Dua perusahaan raksasa produsen komponen otomotif asal Jepang yang beroperasi di Jawa Timur dilaporkan tengah bersiap angkat kaki dan memindahkan basis produksi mereka ke Vietnam. Langkah relokasi ini memicu alarm keras bagi ketenagakerjaan nasional, dengan ancaman gelombang Pemutusan Hubungan Kerja (PHK) massal yang membayangi puluhan ribu pekerja.
Kabar mengejutkan ini diungkapkan oleh Penasihat Khusus Presiden RI Bidang Ketenagakerjaan sekaligus Presiden Konfederasi Serikat Pekerja Indonesia (KSPI), Said Iqbal. Dua perusahaan komponen kelistrikan otomotif tersebut berlokasi di Pasuruan dan Mojokerto, Jawa Timur, dengan inisial PT J dan PT S.
“PHK juga terjadi kemungkinan besar di dua perusahaan otomotif di Jawa Timur. Potensi PHK-nya jumlah karyawan PT J itu 7.000. Memang kemungkinan, kemungkinan iya 4.000. Tapi biasanya manajemen itu call tinggi. Tapi mungkin bukan 4 ribu. Untuk PT S, angkanya diperkirakan mencapai 4.000 atau 3.000 orang. Kalau dijumlah, berarti sekitar 10.000 buruh terancam PHK,” ujar Said Iqbal
Said Iqbal berharap para buruh terus berusaha meyakinkan pihak manajemen Perusahaan agar tetap bertahan dan tidak melakukan PHK. Bila perlu bertemu langsung dengan Presiden dan DPR. Said juga menjelaskan akan berkoordinasi jaringan sarikat buruh di Jepang.

Berdasarkan hasil analisis awal di lapangan, faktor utama rencana hengkangnya kedua prinsipal Jepang ini adalah lambatnya transisi dan kurang kompetitifnya ekosistem kendaraan listrik (EV) di dalam negeri dibandingkan dengan Vietnam. Perang dagang dan situasi geopolitik global yang berkepanjangan turut memaksa para prinsipal merestrukturisasi rantai pasok mereka ke negara yang memiliki kebijakan insentif EV lebih agresif.
“Informasi awal menunjukkan situasi perang yang berkepanjangan membuat prinsipal dari Jepang berencana memindahkan investasinya ke negara lain dan lebih berfokus pada pengembangan mobil listrik di Vietnam, bukan di Indonesia. Karena di Indonesia rupanya pabrik mobil listrik tidak kompetitif. Sementara di Vietnam sedang ada kebijakan pengembangan pabrik mobil listrik yang masif,” jelas Said Iqbal menambahkan.
