Jakarta- Langkah tim Bon Jowi membawa urusan ijazah Jokowi ke dalam sengketa informasi menimbulkan banyak pertanyaan. Di kalangan relawan Jokowi sendiri menyebut langkah tersebut dilandasi motif politik untuk menjatuhkan kehormatan mantan Presiden tersebut.

Menurut Syamsuddin Alimsyah, mewakili Tim Bon Jowi, bahwa upaya yang dilakukan saat ini demi untuk mengungkap fakta yang benar, bukan politik apalagi dendam. ‘’ Pertama; Gerakan ini bukan motif balas dendam, saya kira kalau orang yang punya nalar sehat tidak akan mungkin berpikiran demikian. Kalau kita memahami konstitusi kan jelas sekali kita semua ini warga negara berhak berpartisipasi untuk kemudian melakukan upaya-upaya untuk meluruskan bangsa ini kea rah yang benar. Jangan langsung dijustifikasi adanya motif politik untuk menjatuhkan martabat seseorang,’’kata Syamsuddin.

Sebelumnya, dalam Dialog live Nusantara Tv, Yogi,-dari Bara JP  menyayangkan munculnya banyak isu belakangan ini berupa hinaan dan fitnah terhadap Jokowi. Hal ini sudah berlangsung lama sebelum maju jadi capres 2014. Menurutnya Jokowi enggan menanggapi selama ini.
