Jakarta —  Badan Gizi Nasional (BGN)  akhirnya merespon  kasus keracunan yang menimpa siswa  karena sajian makanan gratis yang disiapkan pemerintah melalui program Makanan Bergizi Gratis (MBG).  Bahkan menghentikan sementara  MBG di Bandung Barat  menyusul kasus dugaan keracunan massal yang menimpa  korban sebanyak 301 siswa di Kecamatan Cipongkor, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, pada Senin (22/9) lalu.

Dikutip di antaranews.com, Kepala BGN Dadan Hindayana mengatakan penghentian tersebut dilakukan untuk evaluasi menyeluruh agar kejadian serupa tidak terulang.

“Saya sudah meninjau SPPG-nya. Kondisinya sebenarnya bagus, hanya mungkin ada keteledoran. Itu yang harus jadi perbaikan menyeluruh. Saya sudah minta untuk setop sementara,” ujar Dadan di Bandung Barat, Jawa Barat, Selasa 22 DSeptember 2025.

Sebelumnya, sejumlah kalangan mendesak Presiden untuk segera mengambil langkah tegas melakukan evaluasi menyeluruh terhadap tata Kelola pengelolaan program Makanan Gratis Bergizi (MBG)  untuk menghindari bertambahnya jumlah anak yang menderita korban keracunan di sekolah. Pemerintah harus bertanggungjawab menjaga dan menjamin keselamatan anak, termasuk  potensi terjadi trauma berkepanjangan dan ketidakpercayaan  terhadap program pemerintah. 

Berdasarkan data yang diolah tim ASA Indonesia menemukan hingga 23 september 2025, jumlah anak yang sempat menderita keracunan sudah mencapai lebih dari 5.000 siswa. Angka ini tersebar di seluruh Indonesia dan  di Jawa Barat.   Sementara data  Kementerian Kesehatan  untuk pertanggal 16 september 2025 mencatat  ada 60 kasus  yang terjadi di lapangan. Sementara korban penderita keracunan 5.207 siswa .  Begitupun dengan BPOM  mencatat ada  55 kasus dengan  korban keracunan 5.320 penderita.  (ASA)
