Jakarta – Desakan agar DPR segera membahas  dan mengesahkan RUU  Perampasan Aset terus bergulir.   Kali ini,  desakan itu datang dari organisasi Veteran dan Purnawirawan TNI-Polri. Mereka meyakini praktik culas dan korupsi sekarang ini semakin marak dan bisa mengganggu stabilitas bangsa.  Dengan adanya UU Perampasan asset nantinya diharapkan bisa menekan atau bahkan menghilangkan praktik korupsi di tanah air.

Sayangnya, meski sudah tergolong telah melewati jalan yang cukup panjang, sejak pertama kali diusulkan Pusat Pelaporan dan Analisis Transaksi Keuangan (PPATK) pada 2008, hingga melewati tiga periode kepresidenan, namun RUU tersebut belum juga ada tanda tanda kapan akan dibahas oleh DPR apalagi untuk disahkan.    

Anggota DPR dari Komisi III Rudianto Lallo  kepada wartawan menjelaskan   RUU Perampasan Aset sekarang ini sudah masuk dalam daftar prioritas yang akan dibahas DPR. Bahkan sudah masuk dalam program legislasi nasional. Ia berharap setelah pembahasan RUU KUHAP selesai maka DPR akan bergerak membahas RUU Perampasan Aset.
