Purbaya  sepertinya tidak begitu saja menerima kritikan dari Hasan Nasbi. Purbaya  malah balik membeberkan data hasil survei yang  dirilis oktober 2025 setelah dirinya resmi menjabat menkeu  dan hasilnya menunjukkan tingkat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap pemerintah terus naik.

“Stabilitas pemerintah amat baik di mata masyarakat, kecuali di mata orang itu ya,” kata Purbaya di Menara Bank Mega, Jakarta Selatan,  kepada wartawan Senin (27/10/2025) kemarin seperti dikutip detik.com.

Purbaya menyebut kepercayaan masyarakat ke pemerintah membaik seiring kondisi ekonomi yang bagus. Apa yang disampaikannya ke publik selalu berdasarkan perintah Presiden Prabowo Subianto dan tidak bergerak sendiri. Upaya-upaya ini dilakukan untuk percepatan pertumbuhan ekonomi.
