JAKARTA – Di tengah himpitan harga pangan yang mencekik dan karut-marutnya program sosial, pemerintah Indonesia justru sibuk memoles wajah di panggung internasional. Keputusan Indonesia bergabung dalam Board of Peace (BOP) memicu kritik keras dari analis sosial-politik, Ubedilah Badrun. Baginya, langkah ini bukan prestasi diplomasi, melainkan sekadar “kosmetik” politik untuk menutupi borok domestik dan krisis legitimasi moral.

Menjual Perdamaian, Mengimpor Paradoks

Dalam diskusi di kanal Abraham Samad SPEAK UP, Ubedilah mencium aroma kuat strategi “pencucian citra” (image laundering). Ia mempertanyakan bagaimana mungkin sebuah rezim yang masih membiarkan represi terhadap aktivis dan abai pada penegakan HAM, tiba-tiba tampil sebagai juru damai dunia.

“Bagaimana mungkin bicara perdamaian dunia jika di dalam negeri kita menyaksikan penyempitan ruang sipil dan impunitas bagi pelanggar HAM? Ini paradoks yang memuakkan,” cetus pria yang akrab disapa Kang Ubed ini.

Bermitra dengan “Arsitek” Genosida

Poin yang paling fatal menurut Ubedilah adalah komposisi di dalam BOP itu sendiri. Indonesia kini berada di satu meja dengan para pemimpin dunia yang justru menjadi penyokong utama kekerasan di Palestina.

BOP dipimpin oleh Donald Trump—sosok yang narasinya sering kali memutarbalikkan fakta: bicara perdamaian di mimbar, namun tindakannya memicu peperangan. Trump secara terbuka melindungi bahkan menyuplai kebutuhan perang Israel. Sementara itu, dunia tahu bahwa Benjamin Netanyahu adalah pemimpin yang telah divonis sebagai penjahat perang, namun tetap melenggang karena proteksi Amerika Serikat.

“Perdamaian itu bukan sekadar ketiadaan perang, tapi kehadiran keadilan. Tidak ada moralitas dalam perdamaian yang dibangun di atas pembiaran genosida,” tegas Ubedilah.

Alarm Keras untuk Gerakan Sipil

Senada dengan keresahan mantan Ketua BEM UI, Azhan Zidan, Ubedilah mengingatkan mahasiswa dan elemen sipil agar tidak terbuai oleh istilah mentereng “Board of Peace”. Ia menegaskan bahwa perdamaian sejati tidak lahir dari kesepakatan di hotel berbintang, melainkan dimulai dari meja makan rakyat yang berkecukupan dan ruang pengadilan yang jujur
