Jakarta — M Rizal Fadillah menanggapi keputusan Polda Metro Jaya menetapkan dirinya sebagai tersangka pencemaran nama baik dan penghasutan dalam kasus ijazah Jokowi. Menurutnya, ini adalah bentuk pemerkosaan hukum. Substansi ijazah palsu Jokowi secara sengaja dibelokkan menjadi pencemaran atau penghasutan.

” Sama saja mencoba untuk menghukum ilmu pengetahuan. Kajian ilmiah kepalsuan ijazah tidak terbantahkan. Namun hukum diperalat untuk menghukumnya,” tegasnya.

Setelah melalui proses penyelidikan dan penyidikan yang cukup lama akhirnya, Jumat 7 November 2025 kemarin, Polda Metro Jaya menetapkan 8 orang tersangka dalam kasus tuduhan ijazah jokowi palsu. Sayangnya polda tidak merinci siapa saja para ahli dan saksi yang diperiksa dalam kasus tersebut, Termasuk tidak memperlihatkan dokumen ijazah Jokowi yang selama ini dianggap sudah disita. Polda hanya mengaku sebelum penetapan tersangka dilakukan sudah melalui tahapan pemeriksaan para terlapor, pelapor dan ahli. Delapan tersangka tersebut dibagi dalam dua klaster sesuai dengan kasus yang ditersangkakan atas dirinya. Klaster pertama dengan tuduhan pencenaran nama baik dan penghasutan yakni Egi Sudjana, Muhammad Rizall fadillah, Rustan Efendi, Damai Lubis. Sedangkan klaster kedua, tuduhan pencemaran nama baik dan ITE masing-masing dr. Tifa, Roy Suryo dan Rismon sianipar.

”Tenang saja, ini bukan kasus hukum murni tetapi politik kekuasaan, menyangkut orang yang pernah berkuasa dan masih cawe-cawe mempengaruhi kekuasaan. Presiden Prabowo ikut bertanggungjawab atas proses politik yang memperalat hukum di rezimnya.” jelas Rizal.

Polisi semua tahu memang mesti di reformasi. Pemaksaan penetapan tersangka untuk kasus ijazah yang semestinya diuji secara forensik terlebih dahulu dan dinyatakan status keasliannya, nyatanya tidak, justru membuktikan perlu dan mendesaknya reformasi tersebut. Rizal mengaku dirinya bersama rekannya yang lain meski sudah berstatus tersangka akan tetap gigih melanjutkan perjuangan dalam  menegakkan kebenaran, kejujuran, dan keadilan.
